Join us at AYC for ABC Safe Boating Class - Spring 2024

AYC Member Cost: $27.00

Non Member Cost: $65.00

Topics include: Safety Equipment, Navigation Rules, Navigation aids, Light and Sound Signals, Current Regulations (Local, State, Federal), Water Sports Safety, Trailering, Anchoring, Seamanship Information, and Safe Boating Practices. The class will be presented by a certified safe boating instructor with 20+ years of experience on sail and power boats and the Santa Barbara Channel and Channel Islands National Park.

  • This class is for the beginning boater, first mates, and anyone who helps crew on a boat. Successful completion of the class will satisfy California Boating Card requirements. This is an interactive class, so be ready to ask questions and meet other boaters from this local area.
